Vincent Huguenin is appointed president and CEO of Kenzo Mode

LVMH, the world’s leading luxury goods group, announces the appointment of Vincent Huguenin as President and CEO of Kenzo Mode. Mr. Huguenin will report to Yves Carcelle, President of LVMH Fashion Group. Vincent Huguenin, 47, has been chairman of Petit Bateau S.A. since 1993. Under his leadership the company increased both sales and profitability thanks to successful initiatives in key areas: repositioning the brand around the values of childhood, expanding its product offer, developing a customer-focused organization, developing and controlling distribution, and pursuing international growth. Between 1984 and 1993, Mr. Huguenin held a series of positions of increasing responsibility in the ready-to-wear industry. He was first director of management control at the Devanlay group and then head of the firm’s women’s lingerie division. He subsequently joined the Bidermann group (which became E.C.C.E.) in 1991 as chief executive officer for Europe. He notably contributed to the development of several licenses for men’s ready-to-wear, including the Kenzo Homme license. Prior to joining the ready-to-wear industry Vincent Huguenin worked as an internal auditor for the footwear group Chaussures André and spent five years with the family-held firm Huguenin S.A. Mr. Huguenin is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Lyon. In his new position Vincent Huguenin succeeds Hervé Martin, who headed Kenzo Mode since May 1997. Hervé Martin joined the LVMH group in March 1994 as President of Louis Vuitton Malletier for Europe. Mr. Martin will shortly take up new functions within the LVMH group.
