Heinz Buchmann is appointed President of LVMH Germany

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Heinz Buchmann as President of LVMH Germany, effective July 1, 2003. Heinz Buchmann holds an MBA from the University of Cologne. He joined Parfums Christian Dior Germany 25 years ago, where he held a series of positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing, human resources and finance from 1978 to 1988, prior to becoming General Manager of the company for nine years. Since 1997, he has been Lead General Manager and, from 2001, Country General Manager, LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics for Germany. Throughout his career with the Group, Mr. Buchmann made an essential contribution to establishing and developing LVMH in Germany, and participated in the creation of several Group subsidiaries in the country. In his new capacity as President of LVMH Germany, he will be responsible for the strategic coordination of all Group operations in the country. He will also oversee the development of Christian Dior Couture in Germany.
