“With 3 designers based in Paris in the final 8, the list reflects the vitality of the French fashion scene and the attractiveness of Paris for designers from all over the world” said Delphine Arnault, Executive Vice President of Louis Vuitton and initiator of the LVMH Prize. “Among them, Koché was a semi-finalist last year. I’m also pleased to note that a Japanese designer has reached this level of the competition for the first time. I wish luck to all the finalists.”

The Jury will award the third annual LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers on June 16th at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris.

The Graduates’ Prize remains open to applications until May 15th, 2016. It recognizes three young designers who are completing a university program in fashion design. The three winners each win an invitation to join the design team at an LVMH brand for one year.
